The City of Guelph initiated this study following completion of the 2008 Water and Wastewater Servicing Master Plan that recommended the City move forward with water conservation and I/I reduction efforts in concert with implementing a $90M infrastructure upgrade program to provide servicing to the year 2031.

Process Review of BioMag™ Treatment Technology – Kemptville WPCP

Following the completion of the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the expansion and optimization of the Kemptville WPCP by XCG Consultants Ltd., the possible opportunity of using the relatively new BioMag™ Treatment System, developed by Cambridge Water Technology (CWT), to treat average day flows and peak flows greater than the existing WPCP's rated capacities was identified and investigated.
