Environmental Remediation of a Brownfield Site Followed by Restoration After a Fire

XCG was retained to conduct the studies necessary to file Records of Site Condition (RSCs) with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) for a brownfield property in Kingston, Ontario, to allow for a change to residential land use. The property was being redeveloped as a 140-unit student apartment complex.

Delineation and Remediation of Soil and Groundwater Impacts

XCG was retained by Atlas Copco Canada Inc. (ACCI) to conduct site assessment and remediation activities at an industrial facility located at 1157 Blair Road, Burlington, Ontario. Previous environmental investigations completed by another consultant identified the presence of elevated concentrations of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs) in both the shallow overburden and deep bedrock water bearing zones at the site.
