Pam is one of XCG’s Expert People. She’s a leader within XCG’s Environmental Site Assessment and Risk Assessment Group and has been helping clients solve environmental issues with XCG since 1995.  Pam builds strong client relationships by finding the right solutions for their business needs, taking pride in helping clients avoid liabilities and often saves them time and money in the process. 

Pam is a Senior Project Manager and the Business Development Leader who works from XCG’s Kitchener, Ontario office location.  Pam is a Professional Engineer, licensed in the provinces of Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia and is also a Certified Environmental Auditor (EP CEA).  She is a Qualified Person for both Environmental Site Assessment (QPESA) and Risk Assessment (QPRA) in accordance with Ontario Regulation – Record of Site Condition – Part XV.1 of the Act (O. Reg. 153/04). 

Over the 25 years Pam has been working at XCG, she has managed hundreds of Phase I and Phase II ESAs for a variety of private and municipal corporations using the CSA Standard Z768-01 and Z769-00 as benchmarks. She’s been a risk assessor in multiple Risk Assessments prepared in accordance with Ontario Regulation 153/04 for brownfield redevelopment projects and is very well versed in the Ontario site assessment/remediation process. She has also assisted numerous Ontario-based clients obtain Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA) for Air Emissions, and more recently has helped clients transition to the new Air Emissions Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASR). In other words, she’s highly qualified to help you with your project!

With her wealth of knowledge and experience, Pam and her team regularly assess remediation requirements on sites based on provincial and federal soil and groundwater standards, prepare Phase II sampling plans, analyse environmental issues and calculate related remediation costs for a wide range of site and building types.

When not working, Pam can be found at one of the local hockey arenas with her son or daughter who are both part of the local competitive (rep) hockey program.  Pam is a volunteer team trainer and proud hockey mom.
