Amy is one of XCG’s Expert People. She is a member of XCG’s Environmental Site Assessment and Risk Assessment Group and has been helping clients solve environmental issues with XCG since 2008. Amy is a Project Specialist who works from XCG’s Kitchener, Ontario office location. She has a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, and an Environmental Technology Diploma and Ecosystem Management Technician Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College.

Amy is a multi-disciplinarian with a focus on environmental site assessment (ESA) and designated substances surveys (DSSs). She has conducted and managed numerous Phase I and Phase II ESAs for both due diligence purposes in accordance to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Z768-01 Standard and for the purpose of obtaining a Record of Site Condition (RSC) in accordance with Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 153/04 at residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, and agricultural properties. Amy has also conducted numerous DSSs including asbestos, lead paint, and mould sampling, and has coordinated asbestos and mould remediation activities including conducting inspections of abatement enclosures and clearance asbestos air sampling in accordance with O. Reg. 278/05. Amy has conducted and managed several indoor air sampling investigations for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), dust, mould, or asbestos in residential, institutional, industrial, and commercial buildings with strict adherence to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) protocols and chain of custody procedures in accordance with various regulations.

With her enthusiasm and reporting and field experience Amy is a valued member of the XCG Expert People Team. In her spare time, Amy enjoys reading, hiking, baking, crafts, board games, and socializing with friends and family.
