Andrea McNaughton

Andrea is one of XCG’s Expert People. She’s a member within XCG’s Environmental Site Assessment and Risk Assessment Group and has been helping clients solve environmental issues with XCG since 2017. Andrea is a Project Engineer at XCG, based out of their Kitchener, Ontario office. She has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University and is registered as an Professional Engineer in Ontario.

During her time at XCG, Andrea has conducted field work in a variety of projects across Southern Ontario. She is a multi-disciplinarian with a focus on environmental site assessment (ESA) activities. Andrea has conducted and managed numerous Phase I and Phase II ESAs for both due diligence purposes in accordance to the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Standard and for the purpose of obtaining a Record of Site Condition (RSC) in accordance with Ontario Regulation (O. Reg.) 153/04 at residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties.

Andrea has experience managing a variety of field activities, such as borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, soil vapour and indoor air sampling, test pitting, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, geophysical surveying, and contaminated soil excavation. She is well versed in different sampling methodologies and is always eager to apply her skills to new and challenging environments.

Andrea is a valued member of the XCG #ExpertPeople team. In her free time, Andrea enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and friends, and walking her greyhound. Andrea is always happy to support your environmental needs.
