Emma Williams

Emma is one of XCG’s Expert People. She has been helping clients solve environmental problems since June 2023. She is a Project Specialist based out of our Kingston, Ontario office. Emma has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.

Emma’s areas of experience include environmental site assessments (ESA), soil and groundwater projects, compiling field observations, reviewing analytical data, and reporting. Emma’s field activities include Phase I & II ESAs, soil and groundwater remediation projects, and on-going groundwater monitoring/sampling projects. Emma has experience with the supervision and documentation of monitoring well installation and test pit excavations. She has conducted groundwater and soil sampling for industrial, commercial, and residential properties. This includes the collection of samples for laboratory analysis of various contaminants such as metals, petroleum hydrocarbons (PHCs), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) with strict adherence to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) protocols and chain of custody procedures.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys reading, drawing, camping, and socializing with friends and family.
