Mike Schriver

Mike is one of XCG’s Expert People. He’s a leader and Senior Project Engineer in the Environmental Site Assessment Group and has been helping XCG clients with their environmental issues since 2010.

Mike’s engineering focus is on hydrogeology and remediation and works out of XCG’s Kitchener, Ontario office. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario and has over 20 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry which includes hydrogeological assessments, soil and groundwater remediation, environmental site assessment and soil vapour assessments.

Mike helps XCG clients using his wealth of knowledge and experience in the evaluation of geological and hydrogeological field data, analytical and numerical groundwater flow modelling, management of environmental databases using current software applications and analysis/interpretation of pumping test data. He has developed Water Taking Plans and Water Discharge Plans under the EASR Regulations, performed in-situ hydraulic testing and design of dewatering plans, provided assessment of groundwater analytical results, statistical assessment of geochemical data and the design and implementation of in-situ groundwater remediation programs.

Mike’s expertise includes supervising field staff, coordination and planning of field work, subcontractor oversight, project budgeting, and evaluation of project outcomes. He is adept at writing technical peer reviews and crafting complex, but easy to understand, proposals and technical reports.

When Mike is not busy being a trusted and valued member of the XCG #ExpertPeople team, he is often at local arenas with his sons or daughter who are all active in community hockey, figure skating and lacrosse programs.
