Greg is one of XCG’s Expert People. He’s a member of XCG’s Environmental Site Assessment and Risk Assessment Group and has been helping clients solve environmental issues since 2002. Greg is a Senior Technical Staff member and Project Manager who works from XCG’s Kingston, Ontario office location. Greg has a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Loyalist College in Belleville and is a Certified Engineering Technologist with O.A.C.E.T.T.

Greg is a multi-disciplinarian with a focus on Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) including soil and groundwater site remediation, Designated Substance and Hazardous Materials Surveys (DSHMs), and Property Condition Assessments (PCAs).

During his time with XCG, Greg has been involved with numerous Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and soil and groundwater remediation projects that included delineation and excavation of petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC)-impacted soil, in-situ remediation of residual PHC-impacted groundwater using Oxygen Release Compounds (ORC), remediation of chlorinated solvent groundwater from a former dry-cleaning establishment using In-Situ Chemical Oxidation (ISCO), confirmatory soil sampling after the excavation and removal of underground storage tanks (USTs) and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) sampling.

Greg has had the opportunity to deliver projects from start to finish for various clients that include commercial and private developers, Canadian Coast Guard, Defence Construction Canada, Department of National Defence, First Nation Communities, and many other Federal clients.

With his knowledge and experience, Greg and his team regularly assess remediation requirements based on provincial and federal soil and groundwater standards, development of Phase II sampling plans, analyze environmental issues and calculate related remediation costs for a wide range of sites and building types.

When he’s not busy delivering projects, Greg spends his time with his family, many pets and coaching soccer. Summers are spent at the cottage swimming and boating.

Greg’s attention to detail and his ability to see the overall project plan allows him to deliver quality projects to XCG’s clients and are just a couple of reasons why Greg is a valued member of the XCG #ExpertPeople team.
